Template:Unreferenced Lori-Ann Martino is a politician of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. On July 28, 2004, she ran for the Canadian House of Commons, representing the Green Party of Canada in Labrador, but lost to Lawrence O'Brien of the Liberal Party of Canada. Martino received 178 votes to O'Brien's 5,524.
Lori-Ann Martino was an organizer for the Green Party of Canada in Newfoundland and Labrador; she was its elected president and organized seven candidates for Newfoundland and Labrador for the 2004 General Election. She also served as Jason Crummey's registered agent during the 2005 Labrador by-election.
During the 2005-6 General Election, Lori-Ann Martino abruptly resigned from the Green Party, in the middle of the election campaign. Martino resigned from the Green Party of Canada because she disagreed with Jim Harris' opposition to a sustainable seal fishery in Atlantic Canada.
